There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home...

We greeted Koda with as much excitement and enthusiasm as he did us when we arrived home yesterday. After a long, long, long drive, and getting so close (yet being so far), my tolerance for being in a vehicle with four overtired, bored, and anxious cowboys had reached its limit and just when I thought I couldn't stand another minute, we pulled into the driveway. I had the garage door open and was out the door before G even had it in park. I dashed inside, but not before jumping up and down with joy, thanking God for getting us home safely, and still with some sanity and love left for the boys that would grow overnight back to normal.

I got busy unpacking the van, putting things away, and was drawn to the garden more than once to pull some stubborn weeds, which grew along with plenty of flowers that bloomed in our absence. While G sat and relaxed in his beloved porch, I got busy vacuuming out the van. I despise leaving things messy and undone until the next day. Besides, it made me appreciate falling into bed to sleep because it was my bed and my pillow and well, you know you can sure forget how good it feels after sleeping on blow up mattresses and futons for nearly 2 weeks.

So, we are home sweet home. Now don't forget to check out some pictures at Stanmark Moments.
