Koda, we're heading home to you!

We have come to the inevitable end to our long and relaxing vacation. We will be on the road before dawn tomorrow, making the long journey northward, towards home. But not all highlights of this vacation have been done, seen, or missed. No, I am excited that the D.C. area is geographically in our driving path, and we will be stopping at Irene's Scene for a long overdue visit. Six years since our first face-to-face reunion, there are 4 more cowboys among us. I am hopeful that the expected obstacles of time and traffic will not work against us and thereby minimize our time to catch up. So although we couldn't be persuaded to move to the sunny state permanently, we are grateful for my sister's gracious hospitality, for opening her home to four rambunctious cowboys and their parents, and putting up with us while we took advantage of what they live with all year long. There is nothing like that Florida sun. The memories will sustain me through another long winter, especially on the coldest days. Check in at Stanmark Moments for some photographic highlights. Irene, have my drink ready!
