Accomplishments and Failures

You know the little path in our back yard that leads to the trail next to our house? Well, the weeds have been loving the rainfall and growing like -- well, weeds! I can't very well haul the wagon out there to collect my rocks if there is so much dense brush and weeds. So yesterday, I donned my gardening gloves and attacked them with a vengeance. I cleared the path so it is passable to and from the trail again. Fait accomplis.

The failure of this success comes with my inability to avoid the Poison Ivy. I found it, or it found me. Whichever the case, my great Florida tan is being seriously compromised by the rash around my eyes, under my neck, on my hands, arms, and legs.

Today, I am especially thankful for Benadryl spray.

You are just a glutton for punishment. Every summer you suffer with a case of that stuff that you contract from your own back yard! :)

  2. That is one thing we don't have in common. I actually tried to give myself poison ivy once by rubbing it all over myself and did not succeed. I hope you recover soon and are back to you wall building and gardening.
