"Mom, can I just have a coil?"
"A what?"
"A coil." He puts emphasis on the second syllable, as if this will make me understand better what it is he wants.
"A coil?"
"Coil."
"Coyille? What's a coyille?"
"You know, that brown thing with white stuff inside."
Now, friendly readers, tell me what you think he was requesting. Think like a 4-year-old and it should be easy!
Okay, my first reaction was not decent ..ha ha.. and then I reread that it was not you saying it.. Gross, I know. Awful, I know. Sorry to go there..
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, oreo? A devil dog is brown but...
Good grief. Anybody else? It's really not that hard and remember -- he's 4 and doesn't have thoughts like Dirty Mind does!
ReplyDeleteKerri, you're killing me here! I've been wracking my brain for days! What was he asking for???!!
ReplyDeleteAw, Rocky. Really, you can't guess what it is? When you figure it out or find out, you'll be kicking yourself.
ReplyDeleteI know! He's asking for a yodel! :) (Now what do I get for a prize if I got it right? haha)
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, if you want to give me your address, I'll send you a box of Yodels!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing he was saying a cookie, like an Orea, or maybe a cupcake, like Hostess????
ReplyDeleteBeth, it was a Yodel. I did buy a box of them at the grocery store this weekend and told the boys to keep their hands off because I need to send it to Anonymous for guessing right! If I don't hear from that person, maybe I'll send them to Rockycat.
ReplyDeletePlease send the prize to Rockycat. There wouldn't be enough in the box for each of my kids to get one anyway (because I have 8 and think only 6 come in a package??). :)
ReplyDeleteYodels ........ yummmm! I would happily accept any Yodels you would like to send my way. :) But it hardly seems fair, seeing as how I didn't even hazard a guess.
ReplyDeleteRockycat, Yodels coming your way! Don't share them with The Runt and Little Girl!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks, Kerri!!
