Londonderry Lancers

The First Lady preceded President Obama's visit at Mack's last November. Of course, I tried to snag a ticket to his event, but was not so lucky. I might have been lucky to just park in the apple orchard and trek through the woods, or to ask the boys' principal if I could hang at her house, a stone's throw away from the event. No doubt, those secret service guys would have blown my cover , especially if I had loud-mouth Jeffrey with me.

But I would be remiss if I didn't brag about the fact that our high school's band was chosen to march in the Inaugural parade. I mean, if Dawn Meehan is going to stand in the check-out line at the grocery store and show everyone her article in Hallmark Magazine (page 199, for those of you who want to check it out when you're waiting to check out at the grocery store), of course I'm going to give you the link here to watch the Londonderry Lancers march down Pennsylvania Avenue.
