Down to one

THAT TIME OF YEAR HAS ONCE AGAIN CREPT UP ON US. THE ANTICIPATION AND EXCITEMENT IS EVIDENT IN EVERY CHILD, EVEN THOSE WHO CLAIM TO DISLIKE SCHOOL.

Oops. Sorry for yelling. I'm used to having to do that with all the background noise four active boys can make, but it is difficult to get used to the fact that three -- yes three out of four of them -- boarded the bus together this morning for their first day of school. I won't see them again until 3:30 or so. It will be just me and Jeffrey. All day. The things I can accomplish make up a very long list, one I will barely check off today. There is never enough time to get it all done and something else always comes up and chores need to be prioritized.

Today, my top priority is Jeffrey. He's got me all day. I have him all day. This may be even better than the most wonderful time of the year.
Joey and Chris are excited about their first day. Joey's joining the big kids this year!

Tommy won't pose for a picture, so I have to catch him off guard. Do you just love the black? That's apparently the skateboarding look. Etnies or some other skateboard apparel that isn't Tony Hawk because Hawk is no longer cool, according to the main source in this photo.

All aboard!

Yes, peace, my friend. May we have lots of it this year.
