Today's itinerary

I had my day yesterday with my coworkers and it was heavenly. You might think it wouldn't be fun to hang out with a priest and a nun and a choir director and a religious education director and a youth minister, but they are people just like you and me and yes, they laugh at funny jokes and even know how to tell them. Lots of laughter, resting, eating, fun. After spending the day at Lake Winnepesaukee we headed home and stopped at the Tilton outlets to shop a little. I did well and only spent $23. We got back into town just after 8 PM.

Today, I took the boys to the park, followed by ice cream and feeding the ducks and goats at Mack's. I have no agenda set for tomorrow, and it's nice to be spontaneous, as today was. Here are some pictures.

Tonight, I took my bike down from the garage attic, dusted it off, put air in the tires, and rode it to work! I was there in less than 10 minutes and it felt great to be building up my stamina and getting a work out on the trail (which is the quickest, safest and easiest route to take versus the busy main roads), not to mention getting to keep the van parked in its spot in the garage. I usually work until 9 but left at 8:30 to take advantage of what was left of the quickly fading daylight. As long as the weather cooperates, I intend to ride or walk to and from work all summer long. By September maybe I'll be able to get back into a bikini! Not that I'd ever dare wear one again and my timing would be a little off, but you know what I mean. If combining two efforts allows me to accomplish several goals at once, I am on it.
