Guess what else happened? Remember this? Well, I never did get that good Samaritan's name, so I sent a letter to the editor of our local newspaper, hoping to indirectly thank him if he happened to subscribe and if not, show the great value in his act of kindness to others. The editor was happy to run the story, albeit with the likelihood of having to trim it down for space, which was certainly understandable. But he didn't trim it down and he ran the entire story and look! Look!
Paper comes from trees and I'm published in one! Paper, that is.
Busy, busy weekend. Trees were felled, stones were moved. With the help of a great friend who has three times the strength and stamina G and I do combined, my "Granite State" was freed from its spot in the back and will start a new wall. Its depth was larger than it appeared originally, and without the help of Big Dave (as the boys like to call him), it would have never gotten relocated. I'll post pictures soon. I need to drive around and find some good rocks to collect gather many more large stones to get the wall built.
