I'm LOST

So did you watch last night? Now I'm even more lost than I was at the end of last season! Nothing like keeping the fans hanging on and sitting on the edge of their seats until next week.

But I have things to distract me until then. A good dozen outbursts by Tommy, for sure. At least another snow storm besides the ice that we're expecting any moment now. Any moment, it's going to get messy out there. Even Joey got the afternoon off from kindergarten. Yup, any moment, the precipitation is expected to fall. It's not like we've been waiting or anything.

I caught up with the laundry, so I won't have to make trips next door or to the laundromat until the new fi-Asko arrives on Tuesday. We found it would cost too much money to repair our broken machine and that we'd prefer to go with the devil we know than the one we don't, hence purchasing yet another Asko again. This will be #3 in the span of 8 years. Third time is a charm, right? At least that's what they say. Or if it winds up being 'three strikes, you're out', then it was an expensive lesson learned, by gosh, and we'd better find another company to support besides this European one.

I'm enjoying my latest read, Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult. I get a chapter read here in there when I'm not listening to the police scanner. I love advanced technology and especially when we can be a part of it. I can listen on my computer and it is interesting to know what's going on in this great town and what the law enforcement is doing to keep it safe.

What else: kids' sports, shopping, housecleaning. Super Bowl to watch on Sunday. Six more weeks of winter to look forward to because when does the ground hog ever not see his shadow? Oh, and the serious countdown begins to having seen 4 decades on this earth.

See? Plenty of things happening to keep me from feeling lost.
