It's official. If we keep going down this snowy path, the kids will be celebrating the 4th of July in school. But since they are all about 'here and now', that possibility doesn't even cross their minds. These 3-day weekends are becoming quite common around here. We got another foot of snow yesterday. The old snow was beyond its pristine white, so we were due anyway. Patches of green grass were even visible in some spots. We can't have that in January! At least not here.
I wanted to get out to make something artistic with the snow. Maybe a 'GO PATS' snow sign, or the traditional snowman. Some friends of ours made a whole snow family! Each one was a representation of each of them.
Just before New Year's, our neighbors made Squidward and Spongebob snowmen.
I just can't compete with all of that. I think I'll stay inside and keep working on my puzzle. It's almost done!
Well, can't say I miss the white fluffy stuff-although this morning I had to turn my defrost on so the windshield would clear. It does get a bit frosty here at night even in Florida. The snowman family looks great!! I wonder if I can build a family our of beach sand??
ReplyDeleteI now what you mean....it was only 64 here today! I had to put the heat on! You guys are famous down here they keep showing Andover, MA on the news and I just keep laughing! I miss you guys but I don't wish I was there!K
