Memorial Day weekend found us all busy progressing and completing tasks. I redid my blue wall and completed it. Now I am working on redoing the stone walls farther down alongside the driveway. I have too many small stones and want to eliminate them. The blue wall, however, will retain its small stones.
Meanwhile, G and his friend worked diligently on the pool deck. The weather was in our favor, and the boys got to indulge in their favorite past-times. I had to make several trips on the trail to get the really good blue rocks, with my little apprentice Jeffrey helping out. While we dug up stones, Christopher embarked on catching toads and frogs in the nearby swamps. Tommy road his bike and I toned my muscles hauling the wagon, especially when my apprentice didn't want to walk.
We all got to swim and enjoyed a bonfire Sunday evening. Sam and Mike were always around to keep our thirst quenched.
Tommy and David took an evening swim. Here is Tommy flying high.
