I've been here, just not HERE.

But I can explain. No, can't even blame it on this time of year because I have only been shopping on Black Friday. I already got Christmas up at the house. It looks all festive and pretty with the lights and the tree and stockings and today it even snowed outside! In another couple of weeks I'll have long since grown weary of the clutter decor and will be eager for December 26 to come around so I can put it all away until next year.

I have caught up with deadlines for the most part and have even found time to read! I have made time with my dearest friends, taking my longtime friend out last week to celebrate her 40th with a small group and got together on Friday with another great group of friends to hang out. We were supposed to play bunco, but we just never got around to it and wound up donating our money to a shelter.

And still, I have blatantly neglected all of you, sending you over here to find nothing new, nothing exciting, except fillers. Some of you even dusted the cobwebs for me, which I truly appreciate. So, do you want to know what has kept me from here? I'll tell you what it is. I'll also tell you that I am not making any promises to be better because I just know I won't until the high wears off and I honestly have no idea when that will be.

Here's the thing. This facebook thing. THAT is my reason for neglecting you. I can't even tell you what a thrill it is to be reconnecting with high school friends from over twenty years ago! It's a crying shame that Classmates.com wants money for their memberships because facebook has them beat by a long shot. Facebook is free, but honestly, if they incurred a fee, I think I would actually pay it. The connections and the games and finding old friends and making new friends..., is just like I said - quite a high!

I am a self-proclaimed Bejeweled 2 addict but now, I am also addicted to PathWords. And I'm in 3rd place among my friends and until I can claim first place, I will not be frequenting here as much. I hope you understand. And, keep my high going and join if you aren't there already! I'll admit I have looked for some of you, but haven't found you. Those of you who already are on facebook most likely understand this conundrum I'm in. But at least it's not a bad conundrum.

Oh, and just an FYI: Jeffrey would want you all to know that I can count to 100. I heard him telling Christopher the other day.
