Ahh, summer.
Rain Sun drenched days. Grass as
green as a gardeners thumb white as snow. Temperatures dipping into the
high 90s low 40s. It's just so..., heavenly. It makes me want to say a prayer above, I'm so thankful for our beautiful seasons. Where else can you experience a taste of winter in August, or a taste of summer in March? There just is no place like New England, where anything goes at any time, no matter what season or month it is.
Hail
storms are surreal Mary full of Grace...
God's grace abounds! Here is proof:
Seriously, where else can you get a taste of winter in the middle of summer? Where, other than the man-made kind, can you put your summer bare feet in the ice made by Mother Nature herself? A few wild kids, a bucket of hail, and you've got yourself a perfect
summer winter day!
That's crazy. We have been in a drought for 4 years. We just welcome some rain.
ReplyDeleteHail in the summertime freaks me out. It's like, how can it possibly be that cold up in the atmosphere when it's eighty degrees down here? I must have slept through that lecture in Earth Science.
ReplyDeleteWow! We did not get any winter in the summer here in Epping. I am jealous =P
