I don't know what it is with my kids and socks. They never want to wear them. It doesn't matter if it's below freezing outside. The second they are in the door, they are stripping off their socks along with their winter coats and other winter gear. And every time I turn around, I am finding an abandoned sock left here, there, and everywhere. A lot of times, they aren't even a matching set. A lot more times, they are turned inside out. It is one of my biggest pet peeves when clothes are taken off and left inside out. Since the owner has no regard for my time, a lot of times the item will just get washed, folded and put away - inside out.
Here is a mismatched pair in the living room.
Here is an odd assortment left on the stairs.
Here is a pair left in the laundry room. At least they were left close to the washing machine.
Here are several pairs left on Tommy's backpack. Which is next to the trash. Which is where I should have tossed them if I knew it wouldn't come back at me in the form of an expense to have to buy more.
It is one of my pet peeves when clothes are taken off inside out too! And I also fold them that way! (I guess we must be twins.) :)
