...Dick and Jane books. The simple words are so simple to read. Seriously, I'm not partial to them. That was just my segue to what I really like and don't like, some of which I will share with you, lurkers and fans and passers-by, in this post. If you don't particularly care for this topic, then by all means, move on to the next blog. Just please leave quietly on your way out so you don't disrupt the rest of my readers as I share a little tiny bit of my world with them.
I like country music and it just keeps getting better and better. I don't know if being forced to listen to Tammy Wynette growing up can be attributed to how I feel about it today, but I'm happy to credit my mom for making us listen to her.
I don't like the cold. It makes me shiver and I don't like to shiver.
I like the smell of puppies and lavender and freshly cut grass.
I don't like the smell of tobacco smoke.
I like chocolate and ice cream and Silk soymilk.
I don't like raw fish or American chop suey.
I like to Google people. Here, I'll even get my name out there, just in case you ever want to Google me: Kerri Stanley. But you won't find much, I'm afraid. Besides finding your way back to this post, I think I am famous at our local Kindergarten for being Vice-president of the PTA. We can't all be famous, and most of us are famously boring.
I don't like being late for appointments. It stresses me out.
I like watching my boys when they're sleeping. It destresses me and makes my heart grow bigger with the love I have for them.
I don't like snakes.
I like butterflies.
I don't like impatient people. Their abrasive haste just makes the rest of us bristle.
I like sleep. Unfortunately, it doesn't want to date me tonight or I wouldn't be here, writing this post for you. I mean, I might still write it, it just would be at a more practical time of day. But I suppose I can't very well find my Z's if I'm not looking in the right places. So off I go in search of them. But before I go, let me just tell you one more thing I like:
You, for your loyalty and reading this post to the end. Thank you. You rock. Come back again soon.
What?! You don't like American Chop Suey?! Well, you would like mine. (Really.)
ReplyDeleteWhat about your "Wattamelon" role??? ;P
ReplyDeleteKelly, I didn't add Friendly's Wattamelon Role because it's a given. Everybody who knows me knows it tops my list. Incidentally, I was resorted to creating my own version of the sherbert by combining the Friendly's Watermelon Sherbert with some lemon/lime sherbert and chocolate chip chunks. Of course, it wasn't nearly the same as the original, but it will suffice and sustain me through the rest of the winter until the real thing becomes available again.
